1. Data controller

2. Data we collect
- Email - provided at checkout, used to send your magic link and (with consent) service communications.
- Payment data - handled solely by Stripe; Localis does not store it.
- Technical cookie - a single cookie (
lg_partner) to attribute sales to a partner when you arrive via QR; 30-day duration. See the full cookie policy. - Aggregate statistics - Plausible Analytics, cookieless and without personal data (GDPR-compliant without consent).
- Google Analytics 4 - activated only if you give consent via the cookie banner. Collects aggregate navigation data with anonymized IP. Legal basis: consent (GDPR Art. 6.1.a). You can withdraw consent at any time via footer - "Manage cookies".
- PostHog - activated only if you give consent via the cookie banner. Collects behavioural analytics and anonymized session recordings (session replay) to improve the site. Data hosted in the European Union (eu.posthog.com). Legal basis: consent (GDPR Art. 6.1.a). You can withdraw consent at any time via footer - "Manage cookies".
3. Legal basis
- Contract performance - for email, payment and guide access.
- Legitimate interest - for Plausible Analytics (anonymous aggregate statistics).
- Consent (GDPR Art. 6.1.a) - for Google Analytics 4, PostHog and marketing communications, when provided.
4. Retention
Email is retained as long as your access to purchased guides exists (unlimited by design). You may request deletion at hello@localis.guide; deletion forfeits access to guides.
5. Your rights
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability under GDPR (Articles 15-22). Exercise these by emailing hello@localis.guide.
6. Non-EU transfers
Stripe (Ireland, GDPR-compliant) processes payments. Resend (USA, EU-US DPF participant) delivers emails. Cloudflare (USA/international, EU-US DPF participant) serves audio. Google LLC (USA, EU-US DPF participant) provides Google Analytics 4, activated only with consent.
7. Complaints
You may file complaints with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
