About us

Localis is an editorial team, not a content generator.

We study the sources, walk the places, then write. That is how every guide is made.

We do it because a place isn't understood from a plaque on a monument. It's understood through stories: why that city turned out the way it did, why the people who live there are the way they are. We want you to go home not just with photos, but knowing you truly understood where you were — and the people who live there. Understand a place, don't just pass through it.

Localis started in Bari with Domenico and Luigi Loconsole. Each guide combines verifiable archive research, oral memory gathered on location, and human editorial revision. Full references are published at /fonti, chapter by chapter.

Audio voices are synthetic by explicit editorial choice: stories stay faithful to the original words while remaining clear in real street conditions.
